Essentially, Guardian Families are an adoptive family to the dogs that are a part of our breeding program. We maintain ownership of the dog until he or she graduates from our program and then they are fully adopted by you.
Why would I want a guardian dog?
You receive our 1st pick pup of the litter.
You receive a high quality dog valued at $2500+ for no cost to you.
You have access to training, health and general advice from us for your dog's lifetime.
You get free doggy day care provided by us at least 2x/year while you're away.
Your dog will be spayed or neutered at no cost to you.

Breeder's Expectations
Meet all your pet's emotional, physical, social, grooming and training needs
while in our care.
Cover the cost of all genetic and health testing.
Test your dog to ensure their growth plates are fully fused before breeding.
Only breed your dog if she or he is genetically and medically fit to do so.
Be available to you, the Guardian family, for advice with training, health or
other general questions.
Watch your dog at least 2x/year for the Guardian family.
Cover the cost of all breeding, pregnancy and health costs related to it.
Cover the cost to spay or neuter your dog.
Once your dog is a graduate of our program we will give you the paperwork to legally own him or her and we will cover the cost of the dog's spay or neuter. We breed for 3-4 litters at most from each female. This is based on their size and previous litter experiences. We will ONLY breed when it is safe and healthy to do so, as deemed by our local veterinarian.
We currently have most of our dogs in Guardian Homes and are so grateful for the wonderful guardian families that are a huge part of our program! In short Guardian homes are the backbone of our breeding program as we don't have enough hands, time and means to care for all of our breeding dogs full time on our own. We are forever grateful to the wonderful families who trust us with their cherished furry family members!
If you would like to chat with one of our past or present guardian families to learn firsthand what guardianship is like, let us know and we would be happy to connect you.
